The manual on medical surgery by Italian physician Roger Frugard is now available in Anglo-Norman. The Anglo-Norman text is translated from the Latin version. The manual explains various methods on how to treat injuries to the upper and lower areas of the body including how to attend to broken bones and flesh wounds. Below is an excerpt from the text on how to treat a head wound when a patient does not have a cranial fracture:
